"When you see someone putting on his Big Boots, you can be pretty sure that an Adventure is going to happen"

Winnie-The-Pooh

I’ve had 'Adventures in Big Boots' in an eclectic mix of roles, and thought I might be a “Jack(ie) of All Trades.”  Then one day I looked back at my working (and voluntary work) life, and realised there was a very strong theme running through everything I've done.

In every role, I had been helping others – individuals, teams, organisations, communities – to reach their potential, to make informed choices and to help themselves.  I’ve always believed in doing things with people - not for or to them - as this leads to the most satisfying and sustainable results.

I love working with those who want to make changes (even if they don't know the how or what yet), who are keen to recognise the choices they have, and seek to do something different - whether in an earth-shattering way, or a quieter micro way, or anywhere in between.

They say ‘who you are is how you coach’  and I am someone who brings my whole self to everything I do.  I take change and development in all its many facets seriously, and I also believe the process should be creative and allow for elements of playfulness.

I am an Accredited Professional Executive Coach, experienced in both individual and team coach and a coach supervisor.  I'm a member of the Association for Coaching Supervisors and the Association For Coaching.  I'm also a Licensed NLP practitioner and accredited i3 Personality Profiler.

I worked in social housing and community regeneration for many years, and am an experienced senior leader.   I have worked variously: with the NHS and Local Authorities; on major transformation programmes; leading culture change programmes; facilitating a range of workshops and events; coaching as part of Charity and Leadership Programmes; delivering a range of training and development courses; and coaching senior leaders and teams.

I am the Co-Chair of an advocacy and support charity for vulnerable people.

"Christina is approachable, personable, friendly and helpful. She is supportive and creative and I would highly recommend her".   Manager, Local Authority
